Levitra (Vardenafil) is an oral drug used for treating male erectile dysfunction (impotence). Taking a pill of Levitra approximately 60 minutes before performing sexual intercourse assists the ED patient in obtaining and maintaining erection whilst sexually stimulated. It should be noted that Levitra does not cause automatic erections and is not a replacement for sexual stimulation or a treatment for decreased libido but rather an assisting drug helpful when one is already sexually stimulated. Levitra may be taken as often as once a day.
